The Cause for which we are gathered is bigger than all of us who are gathered and, therefore, it is incumbent upon us to submerge our personalities, even our differing methodologies, religious persuasions or the lack thereof, for the Cause that is bigger than us all. Advertisement We are not here tonight because of ourselves; we are here because of those who went before us to pave the way for us. We must not be untrue to them and to those who struggled to make life what it is for us–nor should we relegate what we can do today to our children to do tomorrow.
